The Copake Conservation Advisory Committee and Copake Grange present a talk on invasive species. Learn about the emerald ash borer, the hemlock woolly adelgid, Japanese barberry, bittersweet and many other invasive species and what to do about them. Speakers include Colleen Lutz, assistant biologist with NY Natural Heritage Program; and Samantha Schultz, Terrestrial Invasive Species Coordinator with the DEC’s Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management. Everyone is welcome to this free talk. Q & A and refreshments afterward. This event is free.
